There are no bathrooms inside the balloon basket or at the Launch site. However some hot air balloon companies stop at their office before the actual flight. You will be in the air for about 60 minutes, plus transport and inflation time. While some launch sites have temporary facilities or a nearby café, it is highly recommended to use the restroom at your hotel before your pickup shuttle arrives.

Will I get motion sickness or feel turbulence?

It is very rare to get motion sickness in a hot air balloon. Because the balloon moves with the wind rather than against it, there is no turbulence or swaying. The flight is incredibly smooth, and you often cannot even feel that you are moving.

Is it scary if I have a fear of heights?

Surprisingly, many people with a fear of heights (vertigo) feel completely fine in a hot air balloon. Vertigo is usually triggered by being connected to the ground (like looking over a cliff or a balcony). Because the balloon is completely detached from the ground and flies so smoothly, that specific fear response is rarely triggered.

Can I bring a backpack or large bag in the basket?

Large bags and backpacks are generally not allowed in the basket due to strict space limitations and safety regulations. You should only bring essential items: your phone, camera (with a secure strap), and perhaps a small crossbody purse. Leave large items at your hotel.
